FFET Spirited Arts Competition

What are your talents?

  • Art (painting, drawing, sketching etc)

Can you create a piece of art work/photography/drama/dance for one of the following themes?

We have far more in common with each other than that which divides us.

You may consider: Can we all be united? What holds humanity together? Is it faith? Hope? Love? Music? What threatens to tear us apart? How can we overcome the divisions that affect us? 

  • This is a FFET competition open to all pupils aged 4–19.

  • You must take care to follow the instructions as they may not be able to accept any work entered incorrectly:

  • You should write briefly about your artwork. There is an outline to help you on the next slide. A single A4 is the maximum size.

  • Art entries should be must be no larger than A3 in size. Good digital photos of 3D or larger entries are welcome.

  • Staff in the three schools  will will judge your entries, the top 15 will announced and sent off to the Trust for judging.

  • Entries via ICT, digital video and other multimedia approaches are encouraged. Copyrighted music and images cannot feature on their website so please avoid these.

You must write a commentary to go with your art work. BUT it can’t be longer that 400 words. You can use the prompts below to help you. Try to use more than 4 but less than 8.

Judging Process

  • Closing date of 23rd May 2025.

  • All entries will be judged by staff in their school and then the top 15 will be sent to the FFET judging panel.

  • The top 15 from each school will be invited to the FFET Values Art finals on 10 June 2025.

  • There are 5 age categories, Y1,2 &3, Y4, 5 &6, Y7 & 8  Y 9, 10 &12.

  • The top three in each age category will be made into an anthology.

  • There are prizes for each winner.
