Frank Field Education Trust Expands Global Reach Through 2026 Partnership with PRATYeK India

Staff from schools across the Frank Field Education Trust (FFET) embarked on an incredible trip to New Delhi, India, marking the beginning of a new international partnership with PRATYeK - a charity dedicated to supporting and educating street-connected children.

As part of this inspiring collaboration, a group of teachers from across the Trust travelled to New Delhi in November for a week-long visit.

During their stay, they explored PRATYeK’s community projects, worked alongside local educators, and gained first-hand insight into The National Inclusive Children’s Parliament and the charity’s approaches to children’s rights and education. The aim of the visit was to plan a meaningful visit for FFET children in March 2026, this visit is more than a trip, rather an immersion into the culture of our hosts to understand their way of life.  Staff spent time with children from the PRATYeK project and were witness to the new leadership of the National Inclusive Children’s Parliament being sworn in by a former Chief Justice of India. They also spent time visiting cultural sights such as religious temples and Gurdwaras and the Taj Mahal.

The partnership strengthened global connections, deepened teachers’ understanding of social justice in education and will inspire meaningful classroom projects across FFET schools.

Reflecting on the initiative, Katie Dixon, Director of Education, said: “This partnership was an incredible opportunity for our teachers to learn from PRATYeK’s inspiring work. In March 2026, we will take up to 40 pupils from across our schools to continue building this life-changing connection.”

The Trust shared updates during the team’s visit and have begun to develop future collaborative projects with PRATYeK for the return visit in 2026.
